Sunny Days Nursery is please to announce that we received a GOOD OFSTED report.

Our no notice inspection took place on the 8th of January and we are pleased to announce that the inspector found us ‘Good’. The report is extremely positive.

In our report it says how “Staff have a good understanding of how children learn and develop .They know children well and provide interesting learning experiences based on children’s individual preferences, interests and abilities.” This is something that we pride ourselves on.

It goes on to say, “Daily routines are used well to support children’s independence, health and safety” and how, “children enter the setting happy and enthusiastically. They separate easily from their parent and quickly settle to play with favourite toys, with key person.” Showing that good bonds are made between children and staff.
“Good hygiene practice is promoted as children wash their hands before snack and after outdoor and messy play.”

It also tells us how “staffs have a secure understanding of the learning and development and the safeguarding and welfare requirements of the statutory framework for the early years foundation stage.” And that our “education programmes are secure and staff demonstrates skill in their ability to teach.”
