We are your local, parent-committee-led nursery and pre-school in Redruth. Having been established in 1982, we have put down our roots in the area to be able to participate in outdoor activities and more. We are proud to be open 50 weeks out of the year from 8am-6pm which allows us to be there for you and your child when you need us.
Our staff have many years of experience taking care of children of all ages and will provide a healthy, happy, and stimulating environment. Our personal approach helps all children feel welcomed and involved when at the nursery. Through this, we encourage each child to explore their individuality and creativity.

We opened in 1982 in the St Day Community Centre and in 1999, we moved to our current location at the St Day and Carharrack Community school. Since 2006, we have been able to offer childcare to 0-4-year-olds between 8am and 5.30pm, 50 weeks a year. Parents who enrol their child with us can use the provision as much or as little as they need, providing the space is available.
There are many reasons you should choose our local, community-led pre-school and nursery, which are as follows:
We pledge that all children under our care will be in a happy, healthy, and stimulating environment that is also safe and secure. We will provide a dedicated approach that is child-centred whilst encouraging each child to expand their own level of self-confidence, creativity, and individuality. We also pledge to keep them feeling happy, relaxed, and safe.
Within our setting, we encourage and enable the children to develop positive social relationships with the adults, other children, and the community as a whole. We work with all parents to help meet family needs. Please see the links below to download our PDF of our 2021 prospectus and our 2017 OFSTED report.
